I had a dream last night
now I don’t know what’s going on
I’m out here rowing towards the shore
but there’s nothing in sight
I push my oar through the clouds
look at the water above me
and when I close my eyes
I’m at the bottom of the sea
Wake up mama
turn your lamp down low
pull me out of bed now
I’m ready to go
but there’s fog out on the rocks
and the ghost ship is in shock
Wake up mama
We’ve got to make it to the docks
When you’ve lost your hidden treasure
there’s no pleasure in the coastline
I used to know right where we were
but now I’ve got my eye on the other side
wake up mama
smell that coffee and bread
I can’t seem to get myself out of this waterbed
